Sandra Duran Wilson, author of three books and an upcoming DVD will bring more fun techniques to add to your growing toolbox of tricks for creating dynamic mixed media work. Sandra will introduce you to some new texture and resist techniques and demonstrate how layering some of the tried and true ones can add a sophisticated level to your work whether you are an abstract or realistic painter or collage artist.
Sandra has some fast and fabulous transfer techniques, creative new collage applications and always tantalizing textures. This class will focus on layering techniques and incorporating textures and transfers into several finished pieces. You will be able to spend time developing your compositions, work with no fail color mixing techniques and learn the road map to dynamic composition. She also has a wide range of crackle techniques to share, fun ways with faux encaustic and how to add different final finishes to your work.
Please join us for a fun filled three day workshop. Sandra will bring most mediums, transfers and crackles for a low fee. Try out many techniques and mediums before committing your resources to them.
Workshop sign ups are based on availability and are on first-come, first-serve basis.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We understand that circumstances arise causing changes in your plans. We sympathize when such situations occur, however, we must adhere to policies as our financial and contractual commitment for each workshop has been finalized. If you need to cancel your reservation, Dragonfly Gallery at Rosedale must be notified by phone (512) 420-9000 or the US mail.The policy is as follows:
- 35+ Days prior to a workshop: Full refund of tuition, less a $75.00 cancellation fee.
- 34-17 Days prior to a workshop: Refund minus a $150.00 cancellation fee.
- 16 Days or less prior to workshop: Full workshop fees are forfeited. No refunds or transfers.
